“Where The Cars Go”, a film about the world of Concours d’ Elegance through the eyes of the owners of the cars that keep our past running. Norman and his beautiful Jaguar were excited to have us over, evidenced by the fresh deli he’d flown in from New York. It was such a treat to talk with him about cars, his passion shines through all of the footage we’d shot, as he touched on his history with cars and his knowledge of the collecting hobby. He is devoted to his car in particular, but also feels strongly about car preservation in general. It was particularly enlightening to hear about his extensive knowledge when the subject of how a car is judged and why at a Concours d’Elegance. Norman is passionate and knowlegeable. Just the person our film was looking for.

Henry invited us into his amazing garage to shoot his Chevrolet Imperial collection and his pride and joy 1940 Pontiac. Through the great interview we got with him we were able to learn the story behind why his Woodie is so important to him. We were also lucky enough to get to film him adding on a front bumper piece he’d just gotten back from the chromer so that we could see the day to day maintenance that goes into keeping our past running.

Charles was gracious enough to allow us into his garage and see his amazing Cadillac. The car was a joy to film but the interview with Charles gave a great insight into what it was like to be a car crazy kid growing up in the 1950′s complete with trips to the auto dealership with family to see the new models every year. He gave us many of the details that are making this film great.

George was gracious enough to open his garage to us in order for us to film his beautiful Porsche and get to know what it was about the 1959 Porsche that made it the car he had to have.

David’s Lincoln Premiere was a pleasure to film and the San Francisco setting made the shoot and ensuing interview a great part of the film.

This is the original and best example of Where The Cars Go. In this video you’ll see many of our interviewees their cars and of course those cars in motion. The films intent is to look deeply into what the automobile represents to us to find out why we love them and why we should love them more.
